What is IOP and Addiction Treatment?
Individuals who have found themselves in a cycle of drug dependency may struggle to break free on their own. At BHFS Medical and Behavioral Services, we offer an IOP (intensive outpatient program) and addiction program to support you along the way. This IOP program allows you to receive substance abuse treatment while also maintaining your everyday activities, such as work and school. This flexible program was created so you do not have to lose precious time with your family and loved ones while you journey to create a healthier lifestyle. "Was intresed in their PHP program for my two girls but they only allow ages 6-17. My oldest daughter who is 9 loves it so far. My youngest, who is 5 will be right there with her once she turns 6 this year."- C.H. / Google / Mar 21, 2022
"Jason, my eldest son, and Marcus, my youngest are both dealing with depression. Because of that they are having some issues with weight. Put them in for depression conseling but our therapist, Dr. Gray suggested we put them in the children's weight loss program. Since weight gain is intertwined with depression i agreed but I didnt really think it would have much of a difference. Everytime they come back from a session they are both different children. They have made friends and found support through the weight loss program and actually have fun working out with the other children in the program. Soso grateful thank you!"- M.F. / Google / Mar 21, 2022
"my husband heard about bhfs on google so we decided to give it a try for my daughter Landrea since our primary doctor has been booked due to covid. We did a walk in and their receptionist got us in, in 10 minutes. She was treated so warmly compared to our other doctor. They had us feeling like family. Sat us down, asked about our medical history and truly got to know us. You can't get that just anywhere. Thinking about coming here permanently."- N.E. / Google / Mar 21, 2022
"AMAZING WORKOUT PROGRAM!!!! My daughter is learning how to take care of her body and EAT CORRECTLY!!!!! How Does IOP Addiction Treatment Work?
When you visit BHFS Medical and Behavioral Services for your treatment, you can expect that our team is here to help you create a healthy life. Before we begin your treatment, we'll sit down and discuss your health, past history, drug use, and more so we can get an idea of who you are and what you'll need from us. As an intensive outpatient program, you can attend sessions in the day or evening, depending on your schedule, and you'll always have access to our team of physicians, psychiatrists, therapists, and other support staff to help you along the way. During your treatment, you can expect:
- Individual therapy: One-on-one sessions with an educated therapist will give you the safe space you need to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that play a role in your substance abuse.
- Group therapy: Group therapy is so important when fighting substance abuse, as it helps you develop a support system of people going through the same thing as you who can encourage you along the way, and you for them.
- Family therapy: Many families and/or couples gain a lot from family/couple therapy as it helps them improve their communication as a unit.
- Case management: You will be assigned a case manager that will coordinate your care while you are in our program.
- Drug testing: Regular drug testing will help you stay accountable during your recovery.
